The Renoir Suite entry is through the French doors, easily accessible from the coffee room. A beautiful expansive suite awaits you with an oak cathedral ceiling. The stunning 15 wood-burning fireplace is built of basalt stone from a Washington State quarry that no longer exists. The scene depicted of the Strait of Juan de Fuca within the framed windows is dramatic and touches something deep within. The private library and sitting room invites you to relax with a good book. Or watch a movie while warming yourself by the fire. The fine Asian-inspired furnishings competes with the view for your attention. A King bed, a beautiful walk-in shower for two, and a second television complete your well-appointed room. Satin finished robes, slippers and a view of gardens as well as the ocean make this a very desirable room. The sitting room sofa converts into a Queen Bed, making this suite perfect for two couples. Don't forget to save some room for the apple crepes, crab cakes or salmon dishes that may be part of your 5-course breakfast. Hurricane Ridge Suite (Ming)

You ascend the rounding staircase to the only room on the second floor. Be prepared to catch your breath as you cross the threshold and your eyes are drawn to the picturesque Strait of Juan de Fuca framed simply by windows. From your private deck you can watch the stars at night or the twinkling lights of Victoria. During the day you can catch sight of an eagle flying by, a container ship or even a submarine cruising the Strait. Sometimes you can even hear a whale spouting. Magical moments. Our luxurious robes invite you to pamper yourselves in the beautiful hand-tiled whirlpool tub for two, relax in the comfortable chairs after making popcorn to enjoy while watching a movie of your choice. Be mesmerized by tickling flames of the wood fireplace from your king bed. If you have never tried a Japanese bidet, you are in for a treatin the winter you will appreciate the heated water and seat.
